The day of the second annual Caleb Walker Memorial Tournament may have been one of the coldest Saturdays on record in Lancaster, but the junior high wrestling team was the hottest ticket around. Coach Kevin Franklin reached 100 junior high dual meet wins with a score of 76-20 in the semifinal vs. Red Lion. Coach Franklin, a social studies teacher at Martin Meylin Middle School, was the junior high wrestling coach from 2000-2006 and has been back at the helm since 2014.

The team also won the tournament, previously known as the Pioneer Duals, defeating Middletown, Big Spring, Oxford, Red Lion, and McCaskey East in the final match. Proceeds from T-shirts sold at the tournament will go to A Week Away, the respite organization founded by Caleb Walker.
