Congratulations to Logan Davidson for placing 4th in the 189lb “Advanced” division at the MAWA Eastern Nationals. He lost his first match of the two day tournament, but rattled off 4 consecutive wins to make the consi-finals.
Logan came out of the Western Region as the 4th place Qualifier. At Nationals, he faced all four Regional Champions(2-2) to earn his 4th place spot on the podium going 4-2 for the tournament.

Day #1

  1. Logan lost a tough first match to the Eastern Regional Champion 3-0.
  2. Logan won by Fall (3:25) in the first round of the consolation bracket.
  3. In the second round of consolation, Logan would face another Regional Champion. He won by Fall (1:45) ending the Southern Regional Champion’s tournament run and sending himself into Day #2.

Day #2

  1. First match of the day, Logan wins 7-4.
  2. Up next: the Western Regional Champion. Logan won a great match by 7-4. His effort places him in the consi-finals for 3rd place!
  3. The final match of the tournament, Logan faces the tournaments’ last possible Regional Champion (North region). He wrestles well but ends up getting caught for a Fall in the 3rd period.
